Tom Nemat focuses his law practice on estate and asset protection planning as well as business, commercial, and real estate transactions and litigation.
Prior to starting the Law Firm of Tom Nemat, Tom was an attorney at a prestigious mid-size law firm in Orange County, California. Tom's mentor at his previous firm was not only named a "Super Lawyer" in Southern California by Super Lawyer Magazine, but also one of the "Top 100 Attorneys" in the United States by Worth Magazine in the Estate Planning field.
Tom is a graduate of the University
of California, Berkeley,
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Walter A. Haas School of Business, which is ranked third in the nation by U.S. News. At Berkeley, he was involved in several consulting and entrepreneurial activities.
Tom earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from LoyolaLawSchool, Los Angeles. During law school, Tom worked as a law clerk in the estate planning, asset protection and business transactional department of a presitigious mid-size law firm in Orange County, California. He was also a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society.

In addition to his role as an attorney, Tom is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California and a REALTOR®. He is proficient in Farsi and enjoys skiing,
golf, tennis, and spending time with his lovely family.
